Journaling and holidays are a really good combination. There's finally time to immerse yourself, be creative, or just write a bit more freely. But what should you actually pack if you want to be able to journal a little along the way?
Here is our suggestion for a small and practical journal kit you can take on holiday.
1. A good notebook
If you don't already have a favourite, then think about what you'd like to use the journal for. Is it a travel journal? A diary? Or just some free writing? You'll find all our notebooks here.
We recommend, for example:
Dot grid notebook if you want to be able to draw, write and create some structure
Lined notebook if you most want to write
Waste paper For you who want something a little different
Blank paper For you who desire a completely blank canvas
2. A good pen
You don't need to take the whole pencil case. Choose 1-2 pens you love to write with, and that you know will last. Here are some of our favourites:
You can also pack a pair Paintbrush your favourite colours, if you want to add some colour or highlight elements on your pages.
3. Stickers and decoration
A couple of sheets of stickers weigh nothing, but can make your journal much nicer to open. You can also take a little washi tape and use it to put tickets, pictures or receipts in.

4. A small tool
If you want to be able to have it a bit neat or work with details, you can take a Tweezers med. It takes up very little space and is really good for placing small stickers or tape samples. Remember: If you need to bring scissors, they must not be packed in your hand luggage.
5. A storage solution
You can put it all together in one Pencil case or even a toiletry bag, so you can easily take it out of your bag when the opportunity arises. The most important thing is that it feels light and manageable to carry and use.
