May is well underway, and with everything sprouting outside, it can also be a good opportunity to pause a little and check in with yourself inside. It doesn't need to be big or comprehensive. Just a moment with paper and pen, where you check in with yourself.
Here are 10 journal prompts you can take with you into your journal. You can answer one a day, write them all at once, or just let them sit and wait for a quiet moment.
10 reflection questions for May:
What gives me energy right now?
What am I dreaming of this summer?
Which habits do I want to keep – or let go of?
What is stressing me at the moment, and what can I do about it?
What was the last thing that genuinely made me happy?
What does my home (or my head) need?
When do I feel most like myself?
What would I like to spend more time on?
Which place makes me calm right now?
What have I learnt about myself since last time?
There is no right or wrong answer, and you don't need to write a long essay. Sometimes it's enough just to get the thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
And if you can't find the words right away, that's also completely fine. You can start with a single sentence, a small drawing or just leave the page open until you're ready.
At Plan & Plot you will find Notebooks, Penne and stickers, that makes it extra nice to find peace with your journal
