You've opened your journal. The page is blank. Your pen is ready. But the words aren't coming. Do you know this feeling? Some days it feels impossible to know what to write. Even if you usually find it easy. That's why we've put together 15 questions you can use for help when you're stuck.
You can choose one journal prompt and write a few lines, or let yourself be inspired by several. There are no rules, and you don't need to write a lot. The most important thing is that you find a rhythm that makes the words flow.
15 questions for days without inspiration:
What do I feel like today?
How is my body feeling right now?
What would I wish I could say out loud?
When did I last feel completely comfortable?
What do I need more of in my life?
What do I need less of?
Tired, busy, good.
What was the first thing I thought when I woke up?
What keeps me awake at night?
What do I miss from childhood?
What would make this week a little easier?
What would I say to myself as a child?
When and why did I last laugh?
What am I trying to avoid?
What would I like to let go of today?
Save this list in your journal or write down the questions one at a time when you need them. They are not the solution to everything, but they can be a good start.
